Power Dynamos Football Club, based in Kitwe, is thrilled to announce the addition of Moses Phiri, a talented attacker, to its team. The signing was completed on Thursday, 1st February 2024, as Phiri joins the club on loan from Simba Sports Club in Tanzania. The move is expected to bring an exciting new dimension to Power Dynamos' squad for the remainder of the 2023-2024 football season.
Moses Phiri, with a wealth of experience, particularly gained during his time with Zanaco FC in the Zambian premier league, is anticipated to play a crucial role in helping Power Dynamos achieve its objectives. Having had an impressive stint in Tanzania, Phiri returns home to contribute to the club's success.
Alongside this exciting addition, Power Dynamos FC has seen some changes during the January transfer window. The contracts of Luka Chamanga and Raphael Mala Makubuli expired and were not extended. Thomas Chideu and Biston Banda left the team on mutual separation, while Steven Mwaba, Reagan Mtonga, and Laurent Muma were loaned to Green Eagles FC, Trident FC, and Nkana FC, respectively.
In a positive development, the club's Captain, Godfrey Ngwenya, has signed a contract extension for a period of two and a half years, solidifying his commitment to Power Dynamos.
