FAZ General Secretary Reuben Kamanga welcomed the eight Copper Queens that missed out on the final FIFA World Cup squad.
The seven arrived from Germany where they were part of the 35-member international camp that saw Zambia play two international friendly matches against Ireland and Switzerland.
Kamanga urged the girls to keep working hard as many opportunities lay ahead in the game.
Zambia will play Germany on Friday in the final friendly match before heading to Hamilton for the tournament.
FAZ organized a month-long international camp for the Copper Queens in Germany as part of its commitment to giving the team quality preparations.
Zambia will open its World Cup campaign on July 22 against Japan before facing Spain two days later.
The final group match is against Costa Rica on July 31.
