Grant acknowledged that Morocco is a formidable team on paper and recognized their strength, but he asserted that Zambia does not fear them. The coach expressed confidence that his side would give their all in the upcoming match at the Laurent Pokou Stadium.
Reflecting on the team's performance against Tanzania, where they came from behind with 10 men, Grant highlighted the character displayed in the second half. He stressed the importance of replicating that character in the upcoming game against Morocco.
Grant praised the Chipolopolo's resilience after Roderick Kabwe received a red card in the first half against Tanzania. Looking ahead, he emphasized the need for a strong performance against Morocco to secure a positive result.
With Zambia currently in third place in Group F, Grant underscored the significance of showing character and determination in the last group-stage game. The top two teams in each group qualify for the round of 16, and additional spots are available for third-placed teams across the six groups. 🇿🇲⚽ #Chipolopolo #AFCON2023 #ZambiaFootball
